Kari was our realtor when my husband and I bought our beautiful home in Breckenridge several years ago, and working with Kari was a dream come true. Kari worked with us in the sale and in the purchase of our 2nd home. I first “met” Kari via phone and discussed about the possibility of selling our home though we had not completely made the decision. I would have Kari do every real estate transaction in the future because:

1. Her professional and honest advice based on her knowledge, while acknowledging that she doesn’t have the crystal ball.

2. Her thorough knowledge of the market.

3. She truly wants to do what is best for you. Throughout the whole process, it was about what we wanted. She never tried to persuade us to sell our home or to buy – she simply explained the market and pros and cons of selling now vs later. Same with the purchase.

4. She goes extra mile or many extra miles. She worked with our property manager, got the house ready to sell, organized repairs and showed the house – while we were several hundred miles away. She did all this while keeping us totally informed. Her willingness to go extra miles for us didn’t end with the contract. She took care of any issues that came up during the entire process up to closing. She was even there to help us move and bought a lock when we noticed that a lock wasn’t working. She clearly understands the challenge of selling/buying a 2nd home. She did EVERTTHING possible to make it easier for us.

5. She is extremely thorough and efficient — from signing of the contract through closing. She studies every detail, informs and reviews every aspect of the closing process. She informs us things that we need to review, sign, return etc; if questions arose, she contacted the appropriate persons to clarify. This was a great comfort to us especially since we were working long distance.

6. She was/is so much FUN to work with! We’ve never had so much fun selling or buying a house.

I could go on for much longer, but I think suffice it to say, that I will be recommending her to all my friends and families – and certainly for any of our future real estate transaction.

Buying and building a home in Breckenridge, while living in Texas, seemed like it would be an impossible task, but Kari made it easy and fun! Her personal attention and professionalism and communication made our home buying experience an absolute pleasure.

Sometimes you just get lucky. We met Kari as a walk in. Our time in Breckenridge was limited and Kari immediately found half a dozen places for us to see. We did not find a place which met our demanding expectations. For a year Kari sent us updates once or twice a week, and even threw in some of her mountain recipes. Then on another short notice visit to Breckenridge, Kari again made arrangements to see a number of homes in our price range and with our size requirements. She found us the perfect place, helped negotiate the perfect deal and really made things happen. She burned up the phone and email lines checking details; I don’t know how many trips she made to the home to help us with details. Even after closing she was helping with things like getting locks rekeyed. We found the perfect home by first finding the perfect real estate agent. I would recommend her to anyone looking for real estate in Summit County.

Kari Canfield with Coldwell Banker was the realtor we used in identifying the “new build” home we wanted. She was very helpful negotiating with the developer for terms, conditions and additions that suited us. The same applied to her help in negotiating our final purchase and sale agreement. Then, through no fault of hers, the project was delayed by 18 months due to the death of the original developer and the introduction of the successor firm. She continued to work closely with us through this very extended, delayed project and throughout, gave freely of her time, talent and experience to bring the project to a closing last fall.

Through the 2.5 years from contract signing to close, she availed to us a wonderful, positive personality, knowledge, help and services above and beyond what I would have expected from a realtor. There wasn’t one instance where she gave the impression of impatience with the project and never, to me, showed any concern for her commission.
